Hero's Journey

The purpose behind my mission

Parenthood isn’t just a milestone. It is an initiation – one that asks you to reshape who you are, how you love and what you believe you’re capable of.

Before becoming a parent, I spent years coaching people in corporate environments, walking alongside leaders, teams and new and expectant parents as they navigated organisational and interpersonal challenges. It became clear that every challenge is, at its core, a relationship challenge, shaped by the beliefs, fears and behavioural patterns we absorb from early caregivers.

These inherited patterns tend to rise and intensify as we become parents, asking to be healed.

When my husband and I were expecting, we prepared in all the ways the world told us to: we read the books, attended the classes and bought the gear. What we weren’t prepared for was the evolution of us – the emotional intensity, the miscommunications, the quiet resentments that grow when two people are sleep deprived and stretched thin. Like many couples, we assumed our struggles meant something was wrong with us. We blamed each other, pulled away when it felt too hard and disappeared into the all-consuming care of our child.

But nothing was wrong with us. We were merely caught in the societal myth that parenthood cannot be prepared for and left unprepared for the relational transformation it demands.

Much of the silent drift couples fear can be prevented when they prepare consciously.

Research shows that the arrival of a baby places strain on even strong relationships – not because love fades, but because we’re taught to prepare for birth, not to strengthen the foundation needed to raise a secure child and shape a healthy family dynamic.

My mission has been shaped by learning from my own experience and working with hundreds of clients over the years. Today, I guide couples through a modern rite of passage – one that offers a map for evolving your inner world, strengthening your partnership and consciously shaping the family you want to build.

This is why I created The Parenting PATH™ framework: a practical roadmap that helps couples heal inherited patterns, strengthen their relationship and build a partnership capable of holding the emotional and psychological weight of becoming a family.

If you’re standing at the threshold of becoming parents – hopeful, overwhelmed, excited or unsure – I would be honoured to walk beside you.
